摘要: A slip element installable about a downhole tool apparatus for use in anchoring wellbore. The has at least one button made of metallic-ceramic composite material comprising an effective percentage by weight preselected titanium compound. makes the resistant to chipping upon setting but favorable drillability characteristics drilling from may include non-metallic such as laminated nonmetallic material. Preferably is less than 75 percent carbide having density ranging between 5 7 grams per cubic centimeter. Preferably, cylindrically shaped and installed angle extends outwardly distance face element.
