摘要: A synthetic route is described to a novel class of reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) agents bearing fluorine Z-group. Such F-RAFT are theoretically predicted allow living free radical polymerization various monomers without affecting the rate polymerization, and should also facilitate construction block copolymers from with disparate reactivity. The exemplified by example benzyl fluoro dithioformate (BFDF) in styrene free-radical polymerizations process shown induce polymerization.
