Video coding using scatter-based scan tables

摘要: Scatter-based scan tables are used to encode and decode video streams. Scatter patterns transform coefficients between positions within a 2D array representing block of frame 1D for further encoding. By calculating probability whether coefficient at given position in is non-zero, order the may be defined by that groups values most likely zero end removal from subsequent encoding process. This can reduce amount data an encoded stream. A decoder use same scatter pattern rearrange sequence into decoding block.
