摘要: The California annual grasslands constitute a productive and diverse ecosystem. Productivity dominance may be highly influenced by the amount periodicity of moisture events, but vast majority plant species that make up this vegetation type share common characteristic; they must originate from seeds annually. In order to persist, plants produce before summer drought disperse significant portion these favorable locations in seedbed where await events sufficient magnitude fall trigger germination.
