摘要: Abstract The synthesis of zeolite beta was systematically studied with tetraethylammonium bromide (TEA-Br) as an organic template and silica sol the source under static stirred conditions in temperature range 373–443 K. effect SiO 2 Al O 3 ratio, alkalinity, gel dilution, amount seed crystals alkali metal, nature template, time investigated. influence these parameters on crystallization kinetics crystal morphology characterized using XRD, SEM, d.t.a./t.g., framework i.r. techniques, sorption different probe molecules. optimized composition found to be within = 15–58 , H 18–25 TEA + 0.25–0.50 Na 0.08–0.12 OH − 0.7–1.05 . In some cases, were used up 0.3 wt% estimated yield solid product. varied from 13 d. apparent activation energies for process nucleation evaluated Ec 45.54 kJ/mol En 54.25 kJ/mol. Almost 100% efficiency (based input moles SiO2 Al2O3 gel) achieved during synthesis. unreacted mother liquor further by recycling. cylindrical crystallites size 0.4 1.0 μm variation parameters. decrease product ratio 57 19 a corresponding crystallite consistent increase water-sorption capacity. These results suggest use TEA-Br manufacture commercially economical. led cocrystallization or pure ZSM-12.
