摘要: Predominant effect of kidney disease on mortality in Pima Indians with or without type 2 diabetes. Background We examined the (KD) nondiabetic and diabetic aged ≥45 years old. Methods Deaths person-years follow-up were stratified a time-dependent fashion into categories ( 1 ) no proteinuria normal serum creatinine (SCr); SCr; 3 high SCr [SCr ≥133 μmol/L (1.5 mg/dL) men, ≥124 (1.4 women] but not renal replacement therapy (RRT); 4 RRT. Results Among 1993 subjects, 55.8% had diabetes at baseline. Overall death rates increased declining function both subjects P = 0.0001) was highest those RRT Conclusion Death comparably worsening similar KD. KD associated excess from DN, CVD, infections, malignancy infections
