摘要: We discuss recent DIET measurements of electronically desorbed neutrals. In each case the neutral atoms are detected and velocity distributions determined from analysis either optical emission decay emitted excited state or laser induced fluorescence (LIF) ground The cases treated include: energy dependent yields spectral lineshapes Balmer radiation hydrogen surfaces by electron impact, LIF studies sodium a chloride surface due to stimulated desorption (ESD).
