摘要: Abstract Objectives. To determine blood and urine concentrations of a number metals organic substances in workers at hazardous-waste incinerator (HWI) 1 year after regular operations the facility, to compare these with baseline levels. Methods. The employees were divided into three groups according their workplaces. Plasma analyses hexachlorobenzene (HCB), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs 28, 52, 101, 138, 153 180) dibenzo-p-dioxins dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs), urinary 2,4- 2,5-dichlorophenol (DCP), 2,4,5- 2,4,6-trichlorophenol (TCP), pentachlorophenol (PCP) 1-hydroxypyrene (1-HP) carried out. beryllium, manganese, mercury lead, levels cadmium, chromium, nickel vanadium also determined. Results. current plasma HCB, PCB PCDD/F levels, chlorophenols (CLPs) 1-HP did not show significant differences between workplace or concentrations. Moreover, no metal could be observed. Discussion conclusion. lack respective concentrations, together absence depending on indicate that potential exposure HWI analyzed compounds was insignificant. According results, above would mean any specific health problem for HWI.
