摘要: Abstract Spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR) and their substrains are a useful model for studying essential hypertension which is complex, polygenic, multifactorial disorder. Their genetic metabolic features of great interest because they may provide insights into the mechanism blood pressure regulation. We have compared urinary profiles young SHR with those age-matched normotensive controls, Wistar Kyoto rats, using 1 H NMR-based metabonomics. Principal components analysis was applied to NMR spectral data after data-reduced normalized by total integral or creatinine integral. Consequently, clear separation urine samples between two strains observed in principal scores plot. The loadings plot from showed that many metabolites such as citrate, α-ketoglutarate, hippurate contributed separation, levels most used this study, including these three, were lower than rats. These changes be concerned regulation SHR, although relation other strain differences cannot ruled out. present study suggests usefulness metabonomic approach field research.
