摘要: Long-chain acyl-Coenzyme A (CoA) synthetases (LACSs) catalyze the formation of long-chain acyl-CoA, and play important roles in fatty acid metabolism including phospholipids, triacylglycerol (TAG) biosynthesis β-oxidation. Here, we report characterization a LACS gene from ”Brassica napus”. It is highly homologous to ”Arabidopsis LACS4” thus designated as ”BnLACS4”. The cloned ”BnLACS4” could complement LACS-deficient yeast strain YB525. mainly expressed flowers developing seeds where lipid at high rate When transiently tobacco leaves, localized endoplasmic reticulum (ER), common site for eukaryotic pathway biosynthesis. Expression BnLACS4 ”pep4” increased its content. Taken together, our results suggest that may be involved ”B.
