摘要: M-mode echocardiography was completed and plasma taurine concentrations were determined in 79 healthy cats 77 with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). In cats, a relationship not observed between any echocardiographic measurement. End-systolic end-diastolic cardiac chamber dimensions larger; wall thickness measures smaller; calculations of fractional shortening less DCM than cats. Plasma 30 nmol/mL detected 7/79 52/77 DCM. Of the 52 an initial concentration nmol/mL, 23 died or euthanized during first post-treatment week, 7 lost to further study, 22 improved after supplementation. 25 greater equal 9 euthanatized study. Two did improve, which one 4 8 weeks initiation Five Myocardial function subsequently deteriorated three these had signs congestive heart failure redevelop.
