摘要: Sardinia is characterized by a large variety of geologic and hydrologic environments, rich wealth mineral resources, that fueled millennial history of mining activity. Therefore, it provides an excellent ground for studies the environmental impact In this communication, we summarize results our studies, specifically concerning deposits Baccu Locci (polymetallicâPb,As), Furtei (epithermal Au), Monteponi (Pb-Zn-Ag), Montevecchio (Pb-Zn-Ag). abandoned districts (Baccu Locci, Monteponi, Montevecchio), because poor management issues, observe significant heavy metal contamination. On other hand, in active mine first four years exploitation did not cause remarkable changes with respect to pre-mining baseline conditions.
