摘要: Abstract Dominance relationships and the degree of association between members groups eastern grey kangaroos ( Macropus giganteus ) were investigated by observing a small group in captivity larger free-ranging group. Only decisive aggressive interactions used as criterion dominance, number times individuals occurred together measure association. A dominance hierarchy which male assumed highest rank was found captive group, while wild hierarchies separately among both males females low level positive existed studied data indicated that general free ranging animals tended to move about at random with respect each other. In dispersion enclosure regular but became more during day winter spring.
