The making of an OMG standard

摘要: In 2010 SEMAT launched a call for action to refound Software Engineering. Later, the Object Management Group endorsed it as request proposals deal with concerns. The KUALI-KAANS Research responded submitter by creating KUALI-BEH proposal. objective of this paper is present roadmap followed throughout OMG standardization process: its origins, fusion ESSENCE proposal and eventual appearance standard. subsequent lessons learned highlight lack aligned definitions among IT standards process shortcomings, which improvements are suggested. We describe experience developing Engineering standard using process.There several similarly-focused misaligned definitions.Standardization efforts barely appreciated in research curricula.We suggest some make most process.
