摘要: The present work reports the investigation of monodispersed nano brass prepared by facile electrochemical technique. influence reaction parameters on size and surface morphology bimetallic alloy were investigated through high resolution scanning electron microscopy (HR-SEM) powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) Powder XRD revealed crystalline γ-Cu5Zn8 with an average crystallite 16 nm. Furthermore, TEM micrographs highlighted texture its lattice fringes crystal obtained is 5 chemical stoichiometry 60:40 mol% Zn Cu was energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDAX) photoelectron (XPS) provided evidence for presence 2p line binding signals. Optical responses from diffuse reflectance (DRS) showed that anisotropic crystals Zn-rich composition in low wavelength region (355 nm). band gap value 2.73 eV optical spectrum shown it can be a good photocatalyst. rate photocatalytic mechanism degradation discussed detail using methyl orange dye as model pollutant. antimicrobial efficacy γ-CuZn examined gram positive negative bacterial strains.
