摘要: Abstract Vertical distribution of trichostrongylid larvae on herbage and in soil. International Journal for Parasitology16: 241–244. The vertical migration third stage (L3) was studied at controlled temperatures humidities to help quantify the relationship between weather movement L3 onto pasture. Pots grass clover were seeded top soil with approx. 1000 Teladorsagia spp. Trichostrongylus sheep nematodes. sampled viable daily intervals over 4 days. On average we recovered 8 times more than herbage, proportion 1.3 did not increase significantly (P=0.44) time, that is there no significant positive from herbage. We a mean 20.0% initial population Only 2.0% these 1.3% found below 2 cm. Seventy-one percent which concentrated within cm soil-herbage interface. Recovery (P=0.001) dependent temperature humidity. There (P > 0.30) difference percentage clover. Neither ratio populations nor density affected
