摘要: The resilience of a National Forest Inventory and Monitoring sample design can sometimes depend upon the degree to which it adapt fluctuations in funding. If budget reduction necessitates observation fewer plots per year, some practitioners weigh problem as tradeoff between reducing total number measuring original over greater years. Here, we explore effects differing plot intensities cycle lengths on variants three general classes estimators for annual cubic meter hectare volume, using simulated population appropriately-graduated sampling simulations. simulations showed that an increase length yielded quite dramatic while differences due intensity had more subtle effects.
