Emission bands from discharge-excited alkali-noble-gas systems

摘要: The discharge emission spectrum in the visible and near IR from Cs or Rb vapor mixed with Xe, Kr, Ar (of density \ensuremath{\gtrsim} 1 amagat) is studied. For a heavy noble gas at high density, features strong bands alkali-noble-gas excited molecules correlated lowest $S$ $D$ states, $P$ of alkali atom. are remarkably similar to laser-excited reported previously.
