Food, Nutrition, Physical Activity and Microbiota: Which Impact on Lung Cancer?

摘要: Lung cancer still represents the leading cause of cancer-related death, globally. Likewise, malnutrition and inactivity represent a major risk for loss functional pulmonary capacities influencing overall lung severity. Therefore, adhesion to an appropriate health lifestyle is crucial in management patients despite subtype cancer. This review aims summarize available knowledge about dietary approaches as well physical activity factors that decrease towards cancer, improve response therapies. We discuss most significant schemes positively associated body composition prognosis main molecular processes regulated by specific diet schemes, foods activity, i.e., inflammation oxidative stress. Finally, we report evidence demonstrating dysbiosis and/or gut microbiome, their interconnection (the gut–lung axis), are strictly related patterns regular playing key role formation progression, opening avenue modulating microbiome coadjuvant therapy. Altogether, reported this highlights necessity consider non-pharmacological interventions (nutrition activity) effective adjunctive strategies
