摘要: Plastic pollution is a major global issue and its impacts on ecosystems socioeconomic sectors lack comprehensive understanding. The integration of plastics issues into the educational system both primary secondary schools has often been overlooked, especially in Africa, presenting challenge to environmental awareness. Owing importance early age awareness, this study aims investigate whether plastic are being integrated South African education school curriculums. Using face-to-face interviews with senior educators, we address research problem by investigating (i) extent which teachers cover components pollution, (ii) educator understandings within terrestrial aquatic environments. results indicate that curriculum technology, natural science, geography, life skills orientation subjects. However, there was management practices for littering, schools, understanding dangers among different habitat types. This highlights need better awareness at level, increased programs needed educate impacts.
