摘要: Abstract Noise spectroscopy might be highly useful for improving gas sensors selectivity if both theoretical model and sensing devices can adequately developed. In this paper, we propose, as a first step towards an overall model, description of adsorption–desorption noise in metal oxide sensors. Using Langmuir's isotherm, derive exact expression the case where only one molecular species reacts on sensor surface. We found that contribution to spectra is Lorentzian component. Application proposed simulating oxygen chemisorption-induced described. The validity method, its limitations, directions elaboration more general cases such mixtures are discussed conclusion.
