Properties of gel polymer electrolytes based on poly(butyl acrylate) semi-interpenetrating polymeric networks toward Li-ion batteries

摘要: A new type of gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) based on poly(butyl acrylate) (PBA) semi-interpenetrating networks (IPNs) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) was prepared in different molar ratios ranging from 1:0.5 to 1:1. series structure characterizations PBA/PVDF had been measured using FTIR, XRD, SEM. The uptake test revealed that when the semi-IPNs were swollen with commercial liquid solutions, they showed an outstanding 120% a chemically cross-linked structure. All results indicated GPE exhibited best performance ratio BA PVDF 1:0.5. prototype cell assembled LiFePO4 as cathode, lithium metal anode, well separator retained 94% its initial specific capacity after 100 charge-discharge cycles, showing excellent cycling stability high electrochemical window (up 4.5 V against Li+/Li) at room temperature. Compared electrolyte, similar stable suitable for practical application Li-ion batteries.
