摘要: Temperature can play a significant role in the efficacy of solidifiers removing oil slicks on water. We studied and quantified effect temperature performance several using 5 different types oils under newly developed testing protocol by conducting experiments constant rooms set at 22°C 5°C. The results indicated that solidifier efficiency decreased substantially lower temperature, especially application rates. removal was general directly proportional to except for heavier oils, where attachment observed. Solidifier products with powder bulk density exhibited best effectiveness. Analysis experimental data yielded empirical correlations involving certain operational variables such as rate, property (bulk density), (viscosity). Regression analysis used fit mathematical model effectiveness data.
