摘要: The concept ‘quality of care’ has been an important and widely accepted dimension family planning programs for the past decade. This article reviews progress made in field during this period. ‘Quality’ refers to manner which clients are treated by system providing services. Despite its acceptability, hindered a limited number studies documenting effects improved quality, misperception high cost, lack indicators measure monitor quality. process improve quality is discussed. Improving requires shift from using as tool reduce fertility population growth empowering achieve their own reproductive goals healthful manner. As result shift, will not only basic human right but also contribute reduction unitended fertility. A currently underway expected demonstrate feasibility improving document effect on women's health behavior. These would facilitate care large public sector programs.
