摘要: The most prevalent internal modification of plant messenger RNAs, N(6)-methyladenosine (m(6)A), was first discovered in the 1970s, then largely forgotten. However, impact modifications to eukaryote mRNA, collectively known as epitranscriptome, has recently attracted renewed attention. mRNA methylation is required for normal Arabidopsis development and maps reveal that thousands mRNAs are methylated. likely be a model wide utility understanding biological impacts epitranscriptome. We review recent progress look ahead with questions awaiting answers an entire layer gene regulation until been overlooked.
