摘要: The effect of alkali halides on the corrosion behaviour nickel in (Na, K)NO3 eutectic has been investigated at a temperature 400° C. Initial addition halide (Cl−, Br− or I−) increases steady-state potential to more noble values than for pure melt. Further decreases according equationE=a-blog Gravimetric measurements show that presence Cl− and case I−. anodic polarization when I− is added These results are discussed, light previous work, basis interaction these with nitrate melt give corresponding halogen their catalytic dissociation excess amounts O2− ions. liberated iodine may form physically adsorbed layer surface, offering some protection metal. In this respect behave as acidic additives behaves base.
