摘要: Plasma free fatty acids levels are increased in subjects with obesity and type 2 diabetes, playing detrimental roles the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis cardiovascular diseases. Increasing evidence showing that dysfunction vascular endothelium, inner lining blood vessels, is key player atherosclerosis. In this review, we aimed to summarize underlying mechanisms using collected from clinical experimental studies about acid-mediated endothelial dysfunction. Because multifaceted plasma mediating dysfunction, elevated acid level now considered as an important link onset due metabolic syndromes such diabetes obesity. Free involves several including impaired insulin signaling nitric oxide production, oxidative stress, inflammation activation renin-angiotensin system apoptosis cells. Therefore, targeting pathways involved acid-induced could serve a preventive approach protect against occurrence subsequent complications
