摘要: Biofuels and electrification are potential ways to reduce CO2 emissions from the transport sector, although not without limitations or associated problems. This paper describes a life-cycle analysis (LCA) of Brazilian urban passenger system. The LCA considers various scenarios wholesale conversion car bus fleets 100% electric biofuel (bioethanol biodiesel) use by 2050 compared business as usual (BAU) scenario. includes following phases vehicles their life: fuel manufacturing (including electricity generation land-use emissions), vehicle battery end life. results presented in terms CO2, nitrous oxides (NOx) particulate matter (PM) emissions, consumption land required grow requisite feedstocks. result similar higher air pollutant than BAU, while resulted significantly lower all types. Possible found include amount consumed scenarios.
