摘要: Semibatch anionic ring-opening polymerization of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane with the use seed polymer particles in emulsions was studied. The concentration emulsifier set above critical micelle concentration. We investigated effect amount on chemical kinetics and average particle size distribution. During monomer starving conditions rate strongly depended feed not particles. Throughout entire period increased. This increase number In higher sizes equilibrium conversions were obtained. our opinion, a greater extent backbiting reactions is responsible for lower during at end process. seeded semibatch process seems reasonable choice designing emulsion products high conversion desired size. © 2012 Society Chemical Industry
