摘要: Minor additions of manganese oxide and cobalt are both shown to be good sintering aids for Ce 0.8 Pr 0.2 O 2-δ , a promising ceramic membrane material with comparable values partial oxygen-ionic electronic conductivities, offer dense ceramics submicron grain sizes under 1150°C. Transmission electron microscopy X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy suggest the transition-metal addition located in boundary regions. The smallest size is observed case materials Mn additions. Whereas radically improves transport properties boosting level conductivity by two three times leaving ionic intact, detrimental, increasing activation while offering no benefit conductivity. These characteristic impact on levels oxygen permeation. flux significantly improved Co due an increased ambipolar surface kinetics, whereas improvement permeation comparison base composition . It has been suggested that very slight increase solubility transition bulk Mn-doped may explanation resultant properties.
