摘要: Expanding on the seminal work of G. Buswell (1935) and I. A. Yarbus (1967), we investigated how task instruction influences specific parameters eye movement control. In present study, 20 participants viewed color photographs natural scenes under two sets: visual search memorization. Results showed that influenced a number measures including fixations gaze duration objects. Additional analyses revealed areas fixated were qualitatively different between tasks. However, other such as average saccade amplitude individual fixation durations remained constant across viewing scene The study demonstrates biases selection regions aggregate time those but does not influence measures, fixations.
