摘要: Transection of the axonal process causes characteristic changes in morphology and chemistry severed neuron. Such retrograde occur both extrinsic intrinsic neurons. There are, however, important quantitative qualitative differences responses these two classes cells. Extrinsic neurons send their axons to periphery are general capable regeneration. They show alteration protein synthesis with an increase structural proteins a decrease transmitter-related enzymes. Changes certain RNA species may reflect triggering genetically based “regeneration program.” A very early glucose consumption is observed autoradiographically over entire regenerating motor nucleus, suggesting participation other tissue elements changes. Microglial cells vascular seem play role this too.
