摘要: Summary Young and old leaves from 22 mangrove species of Northern Queensland (Australia) were investigated for inorganic ions organic acids. Na + Cl − concentrations expressed on plant water basis close to sea with the exception Heritiera littoralis Hibiscus tiliaceus , which are both regarded as brackish species. Leaf age did not appear effect storage much. SO 4 2− Mg 2+ increased markedly in salt-secreting such Avicennia marina eucalyptifolia Aegialitis annulata Aegiceras corniculatum Acanthus ilicifolius well members Rhizophoraceae. Free oxalate was found all young Lumnitzera racemosa . Malate citrate present species, while quinate shikimate occurred frequently. The contribution acids anion content important only a few cases. Mechanisms salt-regulation problems classification mangroves discussed.
