摘要: When paste of fine granular particles and water is shaken in one direction then left undisturbed, memory the shaking retained for a sufficiently long time to result directional crack pattern that appears after drying. Although it has been conjectured anisotropy residual stresses caused by plastic deformation responsible this effect, time, no evidence such found. We experimentally investigated stress drying measuring bending elastic plates supporting sample found developing paste. Additional tests suggested retains plasticity during process not always frozen place initial shaking.
