摘要: Abstract Development of efficient methods for the degradation emerging pollutants such as pharmaceuticals and pesticides are being recognized a research priority more these organic detected in our water bodies. In this work, pollutant sulfamethoxazole (SMX) was carried out using soybean peroxidase (SBP) enzyme system an advanced oxidation process (UV + H2O2). The optimized conditions by showed absolute requirement redox mediator (1-hydroxybenzotriazole) low pH. other were follows: [H2O2] = 56 μM, [SBP] = 78 nM [SMX] = 5 ppm. followed UV–Vis spectrophotometry liquid chromatography–mass spectroscopy (LC–MS). formed products identified chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry. two remediation methods, enzymatic approach SBP + H2O2, photolytic technique UV + H2O2, generated diverse sets intermediates, suggesting that different routes at work systems. Phytotoxicity studies Lactuca sativa (lettuce) levels detoxification SMX after treatments.
