摘要: We design a framework for video (and in general high data rate applications) transmission over VANET.Our includes both application and routing layer design. We analyze MAC behavior improve its utilization by solving the Spurious Forwarding problem. We tested our protocols on real scenario, considered QoS QoE, including MOS experiments car.We grant ad-hoc mode, also long distance, through backbone beaconless approach. Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks (VANETs) will play an important role Smart Cities support development of not only safety applications, but car smart surveillance services. Recent improvements multimedia VANETs allow drivers, passengers, rescue teams to capture, share, access on-road Vehicles can cooperate with each other transmit live flows traffic accidents or disasters provide rich visual information about monitored area. Since humans watch videos, their distribution must be done considering provided Quality Experience (QoE) even multi-hop, multi-path, dynamic environments. This article introduces handle this kind services protocol, DBD (Distributed Beaconless Dissemination), that enhances dissemination highway VANETs. uses backbone-based approach create maintain persistent quality routes during delivery opportunistic Vehicle (V2V) scenarios. It improves performance IEEE 802.11p layer, (SF) problem, while increasing packet ratio reducing forwarding delay. Performance evaluation results show benefits compared existing works videos VANETs, where main objective subjective QoE are measured.
