摘要: Purpose of review To current literature on overnight corneal reshaping and present this mode vision correction in its state. Recent findings Overnight uses specially designed rigid gas-permeable contact lenses. It is effective temporarily reducing or eliminating low to moderate myopia. This nonsurgical allows for good unaided during waking hours. There are reports young patients experiencing serious adverse events, particularly bacterial Acanthamoeba keratitis while using these lenses, although incidence rates unknown. Summary an alternative refractive surgery must continue be studied monitored establish safety.
