摘要: This paper reports application of Six Sigma technique for rotational moulding thermoplastics. The investigations were done on a typical linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) material. Impact strength (IS) the product was selected as one quality measures. Experimental runs and analysis based design experiments (DOE) revealed non-linear effects process variables IS. It demonstrated that target IS 80J ± 2.95 J could be obtained by optimal fixing variables. As part strategy, Shainin variable search (SVST) is being widely accepted in industrial community to isolate 'vital few from trivial many' SVST present case its heavy dependence engineering judgment ranking can eliminate significant list critical conventional DOE methods such cases give dependable results.
