摘要: In electron transport, the tunnelling time is taken for an to tunnel out of a system after it has tunnelled in. We define distribution quantum processes in dissipative environment and develop practical approach calculating it, where described by general Markovian master equation. illustrate theory using rate equation compute transport through molecular junction. The exponential, which indicates that Poissonian statistical process. used not only study statistics along average electric current but also analyse extreme events jumps against applied voltage bias. shows distinctly different temperature dependence p- n-type junctions therefore provides sensitive tool probe alignment orbitals relative electrode Fermi energy.
