摘要: [1] The glacial cycles are attributed to the climatic response of orbital changes in irradiance Earth. These forcing too small explain observed climate variations as simple linear responses. Nonlinear amplifications necessary account for cycles. Here an empirical model nonlinear is presented. From it possible assess role stochastic noise comparison deterministic ice ages. based on bifurcation structure derived from history. It indicates dynamical origin mid-Pleistocene transition ‘‘41 ka world’’ ‘‘100 world.’’ dominant latter still 41 obliquity cycle, but system changed. suggests that transitions between and interglacial assisted by internal period prior last five cycles, while responses forcing.
