摘要: Men are twice as likely to experience a traumatic brain injury (TBI) women (Cassidy et al. in Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine 36: 28–60, 2004). This difference indicates that aspects masculinity whether biological, psychological or social contribute how people acquire injuries. Research also suggests the illness and disability affected by person’s identity this means men will TBI differently from because gender its aspects. can result changes capacities such strength, autonomy independence.
