摘要: In this paper, we improve the performance of embedded coder by reorganising its output bitstream in rate-distortion (R-D) sense. proposed optimized embedding (RDE), coding bit is first allocated to coefficient with steepest R-D slope, i.e. biggest distortion decrease per bit. To avoid transmission position coded coefficient, RDE uses expectation slope that can be calculated bits have already been transmitted decoder. also takes advantage probability estimation table QM-coder so calculation just a lookup operation. Extensive experimental results show significantly improves efficiency.
