摘要: Abstract The cation of the supporting electrolyte was found to play an important role in electrochemical reduction highly concentrated CO 2 a + methanol medium. Electroreduction with tetrabutylammonium (TBA) salts yielded as main product, while methyl formate predominantly formed when lithium were used electrolytes. latter electrolytes showed higher overvoltage than former. When TBA salt used, catalysed by ion yield −. . This intermediate may be stabilized forming pair, {  }, or being adsorbed on electrode surface 2ad Then reacts produce CO. hydrophobic atmosphere at provided adequate for production. Lithium ion, other hand, suppressed
