The polarization and differential cross section of fast neutrons scattered from 6Li and an R-function analysis of the interaction below 4 MeV

摘要: Abstract The analyzing power of 6 Li for the elastic scattering polarized neutrons with energies between 2 and 4 MeV, has been measured at six angles ranging from 25° to 150°. were generated reactions Pb(γ, n) 12 C(n, n ), their polarization was using double-scattering method. neutron determined a nanosecond timeof-flight spectrometer. In addition, differential cross section three in same energy range; relative well-known n- C section. present results have combined existing data total, (n, α), sections, reduced R -function analysis. Clear evidence p-wave triplet shellmodel states emerges
