摘要: Object Hemicraniectomy is a commonly practiced neurosurgical intervention with wide range of indications and clinical data supporting its use. The extensive use this procedure directly results in more cranioplasties to repair skull defects. complication rate for cranial after craniectomy seems be higher than that the typical elective craniotomy. This finding prompted authors review their experience patients undergoing repair. Methods performed retrospective 212 who underwent over 13-year period at institution. A database tracking age, presenting diagnosis, side surgery, length time before repair, bone graft material used, presence ventricular shunt, postoperative drain, complications was created analyzed.
