摘要: A method for purifying a naphthalenedicarboxylic acid comprising contacting an impure with hydrogen in the presence of hydrogenation catalyst and solvent low molecular weight carboxylic acid, at temperature least about 500° F., pressure sufficient to maintain partially liquid phase thereafter recovering purified acid.
