摘要: A myriad of applications are emerging, in which energy conservation is a critical system parameter for communications. Radio frequency identification device (RFID) networks, smart cards, and even mobile computing devices, general, need to conserve energy. In RFID systems, nodes small battery-operated inexpensive devices with radio receiving/transmitting processing capabilities, integrated into the size an ID card or smaller. These designed extremely low-cost large-scale applications, such that replacement batteries not feasible. This imposes constraint on communications (access) protocols used these so total time node needs be active transmitting receiving information should minimized. Among existing protocols, classical random access conserving, while deterministic lead unacceptable delays. paper deals designing constraint, number slots tags state minimized, delay meets constraints. We propose three classes combine fairness low requirements.
