摘要: Both performance and energy cost are important concerns for current data center operators. Traditionally, however, IT mechanical engineers have separately optimized the cyber physical aspects of operations. This paper considers both these with eventual goal developing power management techniques that operate holistically to control entire cyber-physical complex installations. Toward this end, we propose a balance payments model holistic management. As an example coordinated system management, energy-aware (EaCPS) uses application controller on side guarantee performance, side, it utilizes electric current-aware capacity (CACM) smartly place executables reduce consumption each chassis present in rack. A web application, representative multi-tier site, is used evaluate CACM EaCPS methods mid-size instrumented center. Results indicate outperforms separate modules.
