摘要: Lateral-wedged insoles have been shown to help clinically alleviate pain associated with medial compartment osteoarthritis. This study analyzed the effects of lateral-wedged on gait and knee load 17 healthy subjects. Three-dimensional analysis was performed for each subject without wearing a 5 degrees insole. Subjects walked at constant velocity both conditions. A motion system force plate were used calculate temporal spatial parameters, joint angles, moments, powers. An analytical model developed estimate loads during Results compared Student's paired t test. There no significant differences in angles hip, knee, ankle, or kinetics hip ankle. However, external varus moment estimated reduced significantly addition These results suggest that relief improvement function reported by patients osteoarthritis while using may be achieved reduction load.
