摘要: Abstract Virgin Drosophila melanogaster females, which are courted vigorously, emit pheromones stimulate males to court each other ( Tompkins et al. , 1980). Females have recently copulated less vigrously, and volatile compounds produced by mated females courtship between males. Analysis of these from fertilized gas chromatography behavioral assays indicates that the sex attractant made virgins may also produce material inhibits courtship. These changes in pheromone production initiated after first few minutes copulation.
